Training Weeks

Training sucks, ...well actually no, it doesn't. In fact, we kind of enjoy it. No, we love it. Why do you think we set up this company, to make money?!

Velofrance Training Weeks

Three up front, an empty road, what better conditions?
Instead of running the gauntlet with road rage victims, why not come out here and experience the joy of empty roads, unspoilt countryside, and the ability to ride three up front. Whether you want to go vertical for the day or just cruise along at an easy cadence, the rolling hills of the Limousin have long been marked out as some of the best terrain to ride over.

Cyclosportives
The Cyclosportives in the area are legendary for being a little bit tougher than expected, and riders on the 2004 Etape will probably not forget that day in a hurry. It was the longest Etape in History, winding its way from Limoges to St Flour, via some fairly unforgiving volcanoes, the famous Puys of the Massiv Central.

Cycling is only half the experience
Officially our training season starts in March, and we offer set training weeks every other week, generally for between 4 and 8 riders. Whether you come as a group or as an individual, these weeks are great fun, social affairs, where you'll get to ride a lot of miles, visit a fair few cafes, and generally see a lot of the country, with plenty of time to explore other activities, maybe you'll even find yourself buying a house like we did! At the end of the day the cycling is only half the experience.

We've set up our own club especially for this time of year so power down and relax, Vinrougevelo will be your guide.
