Cycling Tours
You will be based in a fabulous hotel just south of Lourdes, perfectly placed to reach all the famous climbs like Hautacam, Tourmalet, Luz Ardiden, Soulor, Aubisque, Marie Blanque, Aspin and Peyresourde. These are truly fabulous weeks of great cycling, long lunches, and loads of banter.

You will be expertly guided by our very knowledgable staff who know the mountains backwards, and will take care of your every whim. Whether you are training for a Sportive or just cruising and taking photographs, we can go at your pace, or safely handle a variety of different standards. For those on a mission we offer a completely bespoke service - you decide where you want to go, when you want to go, and for how long. We will assist you with guides and vehicle support, make sure you have all the right equipment and that it is set up correctly, find you the best hotels in the area to suit your budget, secure and maintain your bikes at night, and generally make sure you have everything you need.
Examples of this could be a 'shadow' Tour de France, a jaunt from the pyrenees to the Alps, or even a crazy ride like London to Monte Carlo. To put an idea to us, please get in touch. |

Vin Rouge Velo is a currently a cycle club that epitomises the balance between competitive road cycling and the enjoyment of fine wine. We work very hard at our fitness in order that afterwards we may derive even more enjoyment out of say, a glass of 2001 Saint Joseph.
This year the club is rounding the season off with two tours. We will set off from our base in Limousin and head to the pyrenees, via some rather tasty vineyards, beaches and restaurants. Don’t be fooled, this is hard cycling, but for those who appreciate that there is more to life than suffering on a bike. When you’ve fought your way up a few mountain passes and descended through the lush green valleys below, the perfect way to finish the day off is by enjoying a few glasses of rouge amongst friends.
