Terms and Conditions
All bookings with Velofrance shall be subject to the following conditions:
Deposit
Advance booking is necessary to reserve places for all Velofrance trips. We will issue an invoice for the deposit via email with your booking confirmation. The deposit is 30% of the total price per person per trip, and is payable by Paypal or Bank transfer.
Final Payment
Upon receipt of the appropriate deposit, Velofrance will forward details of the outstanding balance. Please ensure that this final payment reaches us no later than 2 weeks before departure. If this is not paid Velofrance reserves the right to regard the booking as cancelled and you may lose your deposit.
Cancellation Charges
These are scaled as follows:

Velofrance reserves the right in any circumstances to cancel the trip, and in this event will return all monies paid or will offer an alternative
available trip to purchase of comparable standard.. In no case except for reasons of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes,
natural and nuclear disasters, fire, technical problems to transport, closure or congestion of Airports or ports, cancellations or changes of schedules
by scheduled Airlines and similar events beyond the control of Velofrance will the holiday be cancelled less than two weeks before the scheduled
commencement date.
Alterations
Velofrance reserves the right at any time to substitute alternative accommodation or to make any other alteration to holiday arrangements which become necessary due to circumstances beyond their control and undertake to inform participants as soon as possible. Whilst every attempt will be made to run the holiday as indicated on the website/brochure or itinerary Velofrance is unable to make refunds due to poor weather conditions. An alternative programme will be discussed with all concerned.
Travel Arrangements
Velofrance cannot be held responsible for any transport delay or failure whilst you are travelling to us to participate in your chosen trip. These are your own travel arrangements and any contracts are made with the agent involved.
Passport
Make sure you have a valid passport and any required visas if you are from outside the European Community.
Currency
Our prices are based in Sterling, but if paying via paypal we can take payment in a number of different currencies.
Minimum Numbers on Tours
It is the policy of Velofrance not to cancel tours due to lack of bookings. However for less than 2 people alterations to arrangements may have to be made. Any changes will be notified to you as soon as possible.
Liability
Velofrance cannot be held liable for personal injury, death, damage to property or other loss whether arising from accident, cancellations delay or any other matter beyond their control. Please make sure that you are adequately insured against all such possibilities. Velofrance will request your holiday insurance policy number before the commencement of all tours.
Unruly Behaviour
Velofrance reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person of any tour/training week/cyclosportive party if his or her conduct is disruptive and affecting the enjoyment of other participants. Velofrance shall be under no liability for any extra cost incurred by such a participant as a result of such action.
Your Responsibility & Safety
It is your responsibility to ride within your capabilities at all times and to ride and behave in a manner acceptable to other people. We strongly advise that you wear an approved safety helmet at all times when riding on or off road. Ensure that any bike you are using is in excellent working order and notify Velofrance of any defect as soon as possible.
Parental Consent
A Parental Consent form for each guest under 18 years of age must be completed and returned prior to the start of the holiday. On receipt of the booking details, Velofrance will forward this form to the relevant guest/party organiser for signature by the Parent or Guardian.
