Etape du Tour 2006

For many a once in a lifetime challenge, for some an annual pilgrimage to pay homage to the Tour. Whether you're obsessively training for a gold medal, or if you're sole mission is to survive the broom wagon, we're here to make sure you achieve your goal. |

|
We can offer specific training for Etappists of all levels, beginning with making sure your bike fits, it's set up correctly, and you've got the
right equipment. We can test your VO2 max and power output, and from that information tailor a training schedule to get you peaking for July.
Please check availability in our Training section. |

For unaccustomed riders the main ingredient for successful Etape training is building a solid base of miles, integrated with strength and interval
training. Depending on the time of year you decide to come out, we will keep in regular contact with you prior to you arrival, making sure you are
progressing in a steady manner, and then push you to a level that we feel is right for you when you get here. There will be a gradual build-up in
distance and work-rate as the week progresses, and we can then focus on key areas like climbing as we see fit. But don't panic, it's not all pain!
There will be plenty of time to relax, socialise, and get in to the French way of life. |
 |

Ultimately your progress will be up to you though. Some people just come out here to get away from the pressures of home. If you just want to take it easy, and 'get the miles in' via a few vineyard stops then we're more than happy to join you in that quest!
Alternatively you could get inspired and come on one of our tours. |
